Final Steel Beam Installed at ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh
Froedtert ThedaCare Health is pleased to celebrate the topping out ceremony for the new health campus in Oshkosh. This milestone marks the next phase of construction, completing the structural steel portion of the building. Next, the concrete roof slab will be poured and the interior work will continue. Work on the exterior of the health campus is also progressing.
“This health campus was created to provide the best experience for patients and their families by our dedicated care teams,” said Robert Cavagnol, MD, MHA, FACS, North Region President, Froedtert ThedaCare Health. “We aim to offer convenient care to more people in our communities.”
The campus, which will be known as ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh, is located at 250 W. 6th Avenue on the Fox River in downtown Oshkosh, and complements the area’s major redevelopment and revitalization efforts. Nearly 73% of Oshkosh’s residents live east of Interstate 41, while most of the current health care services are located west of I-41, meaning east-side residents are more than 15 minutes away from a hospital or emergency room.
