‘Options without having to travel’: ThedaCare Medical Center-Fond du Lac ready to open April 16

The community on Thursday got an early look at the new ThedaCare Medical Center-Fond du Lac that’s set to open April 16.
ThedaCare held a news conference, ribbon-cutting and community open house to celebrate completion of the facility at 755 W. Johnson St., which is the health system’s ninth hospital.
The facility is designed to be a smaller-scale, modern health campus with 24/7 access to care, including emergency, inpatient and outpatient services. It’s equipped with an Emergency Department, 10 inpatient beds and 24/7 coverage with board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
