The Appleton Post-Crescent’s reporting about a grassroots effort to create a sexual assault survivors’ monument in the city led companies, including Miron Construction and Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, to donate or discount their services to bring the project to fruition.
“It is because of your first article that Miron called and offered their amazing support, and how so many in the community became involved,” said Chelsea Bongert, founder and president of the nonprofit Sexual Assault Survivors Monument Corp.
