Project Overview

MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena (formerly MidMichigan Health) underwent a major expansion, adding a three-story patient tower addition to its existing facility. The tower features 60 new private patient rooms, including eight intensive care unit beds, eight labor and delivery rooms, and 44 medical/surgical/telemetry beds. The 100,585-square-foot addition also houses five operating rooms, 18 prep and recovery rooms, as well as flex space.

I’m writing this to convey my pleasure having Miron Construction work at our organization here in Alpena, Michigan. We are over halfway complete with our beautiful, new patient tower.
