Miron Construction Celebrates Women in Construction Week

Because women only make up 10.8% of the construction workforce, it is important to highlight the history of women in construction, their challenges, and ways they’ve preserved so future generations of women know they can thrive in this career.
Each year during the first full week of March, Miron joins thousands of contractors throughout the country to celebrate Women in Construction Week. This week is dedicated to highlighting and celebrating the women who are working hard and driving for change in the industry.
Although this celebration only officially happens once a year, at Miron, we recognize the women that make up our workforce all year. We’re observing this year’s theme Keys to the Future, which commemorates the strength and knowledge of women and the vital role they play in shaping the future of Miron and the construction industry.
To the women of Miron and all women in the construction industry: we celebrate you!
