Contingency Funds Enable Greenhouse at Southern Door

After it was placed on hold due to cost uncertainties this fall, a greenhouse is under construction on the Southern Door County School campus, Miron Construction project executive and vice president Kurt Wolfgram told the school board Monday.
“That will move forward as planned,” Wolfgram said, emphasizing that enough contingency funds will remain to allow the greenhouse building construction after completion of the 40-yard indoor practice facility and workout center. The district will seek a grant to outfit the greenhouse with furnishings and hydroponic equipment.
