High School Students Tour Innovative New School

High school students in the Fox Valley got a tour of a greener future this Earth Day.
Students from Winneconne High School’s Project Lead the Way program toured the site of Maplewood Middle School in Menasha.
The school will be all electric as well as heated and cooled with a geothermal system.
There will also be solar panels on the roof to off-set the building’s electric use.
The goal is to be a zero-net energy school.
An official from Miron Construction spoke on just how much the students got to see when to comes to building green.
