Menominee Indian School District officially opens $35 million high school
The Menominee Indian School District officially opened its new $35 million, 110,00-square-foot high school on Wednesday.
The open house offered a chance for community members to hear from district and tribal leaders and take self-guided tours to explore the new space that celebrates the Menominee Indian Tribe’s rich culture and cutting-edge educational environment for students and staff.
“This new high school is more than just a new building,” said Marcus Denny, superintendent of the Menominee Indian School District. “The design of the facility tells a story of the Menominee people, culture, and history. Its construction incorporates advanced features that support the progress we have made as a district and a community.”
