Ribbon Cutting for Tiny Vikes Early Learning Center Addition

Life for working parents of Vinton-Shellsburg preschoolers will be a bit less stressful this fall thanks to the wrap-around care now provided by Creative Kids Childcare. The childcare center, located in the brand new Tiny Vikes Early Learning Center addition to Tilford Elementary School, will provide half-day preschool programs and wrap-around care Monday through Friday, offering childcare hours from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, August 21 at 4:30 p.m., the Vinton-Shellsburg Community School District hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of construction. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, parents and preschoolers caught their first glimpse of the new facility during the school’s Back to School night.
