Potential office building planned for Deer District
The Milwaukee Bucks are in talks to develop an office building in the Deer District, where they plan to move their main office operations.
North Wells Capital, an investment firm based in Chicago, is looking to develop a 200,000-square-foot office building at the corner of West McKinley Street and Vel R. Phillips Avenue just north of the recently opened Trade Hotel, BizTimes reported. The team currently owns the lot known as Block 6, which is part of a long-term district development plan.
“Our intent for the Deer District has always been to have a best-in-class office building,” the Milwaukee Bucks said in a statement. “We continuously are exploring this potential and there has been significant interests as of lalte. As part of the project with the Bucks would intend to move their business office to the development,” officials added.
