Sun Prairie Utilities breaks ground for new facility

Sun Prairie Utilities recently broke ground for its future operations facility on Linnerud Drive on Thursday, July 11.
Sun Prairie Utilities (SPU) has been in downtown Sun Prairie for over 50 years. Its current location at 125 W. Main St. has undergone a few expansions to reach the current 29,000 square feet. But, the facility can no longer sufficiently meet the space demands required to serve a rapidly growing Sun Prairie.
The new operations facility has several benefits for both staff and the community.
