Project Overview
Marshall Ridge Renewable Energy is a biorefinery near State Center, Iowa, utilizing anaerobic digestion to convert dairy manure to renewable natural gas. The facility receives manure from two adjacent dairies where it is thickened and processed through three anaerobic digesters. The biogas from the anaerobic digesters is then upgraded via amine scrubbing to pipeline-quality renewable natural gas. The processed gas is injected into the natural gas pipeline.
