Project Overview

The new seven-story structure provides state-of-the-art academic, administrative, clinical, and research spaces for three of the university’s most popular and top-ranked programs: Communication Sciences and Disorders, Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Sciences, and Health and Human Physiology.

Flexible classrooms adapt to a variety of teaching methods, while the labs are equipped with the latest technology for cutting-edge research. To infuse the spaces with natural light, the interior is organized around a central atrium with outdoor views at each level.

The building is part of the master plan to expand and modernize the University of Iowa Hospital and enhances the university’s ability to attract and retain top students and faculty.
