Project Overview
This new high school not only improves facilities for the students, staff, and community, it also provides the advantages of creating one educational campus on a single site. All three district schools will benefit from shared staff and resources; reduced transportation costs; enhanced, focused security; improved access to health services; and centralized special education services.
The design incorporates culturally relevant elements, connections to nature, and sustainable materials, with focus on natural light, collaboration spaces, and hands-on, project-based learning.
Additionally, the school is designed as a community resource and gathering point, with a welcoming commons area and a multi-purpose community room for students, families, and community use.
